BREAKING: Mo Salah Admits Relationship With Arne Slot Has Collapsed

Mohamed Salah has sent shockwaves through Liverpool after revealing that his relationship with manager Arne Slot has deteriorated dramatically. In a tense and emotional interview following Liverpool’s 3-3 draw with Leeds United, the Egyptian star suggested that there are powerful figures within the club who no longer want him at Anfield.

Salah, who signed a new contract at the end of last season, expressed disbelief and frustration at being left out of the starting lineup for a third consecutive match. On this occasion, he remained on the bench throughout the entire game, a situation he described as both confusing and hurtful.

“I have done so much for this club over the years, especially last season,” Salah told reporters. “Now I’m sitting on the bench and I don’t even know the reason. It feels like the club has thrown me under the bus. That’s genuinely how I feel right now. I think it’s very clear that someone wanted me to take all the blame.”

According to Salah, he received several assurances during the summer regarding his role and importance to the team. However, he now believes those promises have not been honoured. “I was given a lot of promises before the season started,” he said. “But after being on the bench for three straight games, I can’t say those promises were kept.”

The forward also addressed the sudden breakdown in his relationship with Slot, something that appears to have caught him off guard. “I’ve said many times before that I had a good relationship with the manager,” Salah explained. “Then suddenly, it feels like we have no relationship at all. I have no idea what changed. From what I see, it seems like someone doesn’t want me at the club anymore.”

With Salah set to join Egypt for the Africa Cup of Nations on December 15, the upcoming match against Brighton at Anfield may carry far greater significance. The 32-year-old hinted that Saturday’s game could be more than just his final appearance before international duty—it might be his last match for Liverpool.

“I told my family to come to the Brighton game,” Salah revealed. “I don’t know if I’ll play or not, but I want to enjoy it. In my mind, I’m treating it as a special moment because I genuinely don’t know what’s going to happen next. I will be at Anfield to say goodbye to the fans before heading to AFCON. After that, I don’t know what the future holds.”

His comments leave Liverpool supporters with more questions than answers. A player who has been central to the club’s success for nearly a decade now appears uncertain about his place, his future, and the intention of those running the club. Whether this is the beginning of the end for Salah’s Liverpool chapter—or the start of a deeper conflict—remains to be seen.
